Order your favorite PMU lip colors!

Swiss Color offers a wide range of different lip pigments for Permanent make up. These colors are perfectly matched to the sensitive skin of the lips and, in combination with the customer's existing skin tone, create a naturally accentuated overall look.

Current trend techniques such as Aquarell Lips, Lip Blushing, Nude Lips, Powder Lips, Pearl Lips, 3D Lips, Velvet Lips etc. can be implemented very well with the lip pigments from Swiss Color. Another advantage of using Swiss Color colors are the matching additives, such as the Pigment Performer, which thickens the pigments if they are too liquid for the respective PMU stylist. Conversely, stylists can also make the pigments more liquid. A drop of Pigment Solution can be used to adjust the consistency.

All lip pigments are mixed ready for use and can be mixed with each other. They are EU REACH compliant and do not contain any harmful allergenic ingredients. In the current color chart, Permanent make up stylists will find color strips, color descriptions and a graphic representation of the pigment components. In addition, PMU stylists are informed about the opacity, color development (warm, neutral, cool) and the origin of the pigments (organic, blend, inorganic) in the color chart.

It is important to understand that the pigments must always be seen in combination with the color tone of the customer's skin. The skin is not a white sheet of paper, PMU stylists must always take this factor into account!

Which color to use for Permanent lip make up?

Swiss Color PMU treatments follow a holistic approach. Even before the actual pigmentation treatment, the treatment area can be optimally cared for and prepared using appropriate products such as SC naturebalm. As a PMU stylist, please always use safe, recognized and suitable Permanent make up colors. At Swiss Color, you will find an extensive selection that meets all your customers' wishes.

An extensive selection of shades facilitates the individual choice of pigment. All Swiss Color inks are free from allergenic substances and are EU REACH compliant. In addition to the large selection of color shades, the matching additives are also particularly important for successful application by the PMU stylist. This allows individual adjustments to be made to the consistency of the colors without distorting the color result. After pigmentation, the Pigment Sealer can be used to support the regeneration phase and provide optimum protection for the treatment area. Aftercare instructions and appropriate products round off a pigmentation treatment for both PMU stylists and clients.

What is the difference between Aquarell Lips and Powder Lips PMU technique?

Aquarell Lips and Powder Lips are both full-surface lip pigmentation techniques. Aquarell Lips describes a very delicate, natural pigmentation of the entire lip. Very natural color nuances are used. The results appear very velvety and individually emphasized.

The Powder Lips technique involves shading with more intense colors. A final layer of white pigment is then applied to achieve the striking powdery effect. With the Powder Lips technique, more intense colors can also be used for shading, which are then rounded off with the top powdery layer. The results have a three-dimensional, more intense and matt effect.

Can Permanent make up be used to visually enlarge the lips?

Lips can be optically enlarged with a PMU treatment. However, we advise against a general overdrawing of the existing lip shape. Through the special use of shading techniques such as 3D lip shading and color gradients, fuller lip volume can be optically recreated as a result. However, stronger shades must be used. Nude tones cannot achieve the desired enlarging effect.

How are lips pigmented?

Lip pigmentation always starts with a detailed consultation. All risks and the entire treatment process must be clearly discussed. This is followed by a preliminary drawing of the desired lip shape, as well as the choice of color and PMU technique. Depending on the desired technique, the lip contours or the lip are fully or partially pigmented using a PMU device and corresponding hygiene cartridges. The selected pigments are either sucked into the hygiene cartridge by the device itself while the engine is running or dropped directly into the hygiene cartridge. Ultra-fine needles transport the desired colors under the customer's skin. Different hygiene cartridges can be used for the full-surface shading effect of the lip. Hygiene and a clean environment are the top priority. The use of pre- and aftercare products by the clients is also crucial for the success of lip pigmentation.

How long does Permanent make up last on the lips?

With optimal results, the lip pigmentation should be visible for 1 to 2 years after the initial treatment and a follow-up treatment after around 12 weeks. However, a durability guarantee for the result cannot be given at any time during the treatment.
A concrete answer is therefore dubious, as the durability depends on many factors. Basically, the customer's skin condition and metabolism are particularly important. Well-groomed lips are essential for successful pigmentation. Furthermore, the color shade, the pigmentation technique and the aftercare by the client are also decisive for the durability. The occurrence of a herpes simplex disease during or shortly after lip pigmentation is also an important factor.

Which color should be used for Aquarell lips technique?

The Aquarell lips technique, also known as lip blush, lip blushing or watercolor lips, is characterized by full-surface shading and very light delineation of the lip from the surrounding tissue. Nude or light rosé tones should be used to implement this technique optimally. As a PMU stylist, please consider the client's skin color. Does the client's lip look more bluish or pinkish at room temperature and in daylight? PMU stylists must choose their pigments according to the client's skin tone. A cool basic skin tone can be neutralized very well with a warm developing pigment. Strong red, pink or violet shades are rather unsuitable for the Aquarell lips technique, as the treatment is primarily about naturally optimizing the existing lip shape.
