What is the Powder Brow technique?
With the Powder Brow technique, the focus is not on tracing individual hairs, but on creating a full, yet natural, shadow-like gradient, which is created through fine, dot-like pigments in the top layer of the skin and thus looks like powder.
What equipment do I need for Powder Brows?
To pigment Powder Brows, you need a classic permanent makeup pigmentation device (PMU machine). So far, we have had the best experience with the Swiss Color Infinity device in combination with the SC Genius PRO 2.5 handpiece and the 3-micro or 5-shader cartridge. The Genius cartridges 1-nano (1) and the 5-nano spread are also excellent tools for the finest powder brow pigmentation techniques.
Which pigments do I use for Powder Brows?
You can achieve perfect Powder Brow results with the specially-developed Swiss Color Brow pigments. Ombré, pixel, micro-pixel and powder shading techniques can also be realized with these pigments. Thanks to the PFO (Pigment Flow Optimization) process and the smooth, slightly more fluid color texture, the pigmentation time is reduced: even after the first pigmentation step, the color remains well-visible.
Where can I learn the Powder Brow technique?
You can learn the Powder Brow technique in a one-on-one training session or in a small training group at our SC Academy in Angerberg, Tyrol. We offer national and international masterclasses with a mix of theory and practical training on live models.
